Today, I found out about a cool iPhone app called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/phobos.apple.com\/WebObjects\/MZStore.woa\/wa\/viewSoftware?id=293053675&amp;mt=8\">Fake Calls<\/a>&#8220;. The idea is this: You can make your iPhone simulate an incoming call. It&#8217;s great for socially awkward situations, like blind dates or bad party conversations, that you need to escape from. It works on a timer, and lets you customize the identity of the incoming caller.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a free app until tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Incoming call\" src=\"https:\/\/images.ilias.ca\/FakeCalls1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"360\"\/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"You can answer it too!\" src=\"https:\/\/images.ilias.ca\/FakeCalls2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"360\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of iPhone apps, it looks like Opera developed a version of Opera Mini for the iPhone and submitted it to the App Store. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/bits.blogs.nytimes.com\/2008\/10\/27\/opera-sings-an-ode-to-browsers-everywhere\/\">Opera Software CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner<\/a>, Apple blocked it due its competition with the built-in Safari browser.
