Why I’m not going to buy Windows Vista

It’s money that could be put toward a Mac. :)

I share you opinion! Vista is crap ;-)

That’s a lousy reason, at least for me. My Uni CS dept. has a license for it, so the cost for me is the cost of a dvd-r, basically. And the thing with macs is, they’re a tad expensive. I’d have to save up on buying myself a 1000 vista dvd’s before I can actually afford the mac.

Same here on the license being available, but if it’s time to renew your hardware, then you just as well can choose a mac. I’m thinking about it also, though it’s a lot of money. This Vista is, to me, not much more then a wanna be Mac effort by Microsoft.

Like a local newspaper wrote today : “mooie smoel, zotte kosten”.
Translated from Dutch, it means “nice looks, but the price is crazy”.

Yeah, but you can put it on there too!

Gijs, it’s not even the cost of a DVD-R, since you can install it while XP is running. :)

Good call. No hurry here either.
