Unfortunately the add-on only formats the results to look like they did in v2… It takes up less room, but it’s still auto-searching not auto-completing. This is ridiculous.

See, Mozilla got some fancypants, cocaine-reeling interaction designers together and the guy in charge had them design this CrapBar and then he forced it on everyone--no chance to get the old one back. You can kill it, though: got o about:config and change this to the given value or 0: "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults;-1". That kills the stupid CrapBar, but as far as I am aware, I can't get the old one back. They decided not to put in a toggle for that because they turned into evil Microsoftians.
